Two reasons other mothers should disdain me

This morning I realized something about the kind of mother I am.

1. I am the only mother left on the planet who has no qualms about starting her kids' day off with a big 'ol bowl of Lucky Charms (a magically delicious part of this nutritious breakfast).

2. I am a mother who, after pouring a bowl of Lucky Charms for her child and one for herself, will select for herself the bowl that has the higher cereal/marshmallow ratio. And perhaps even swipe a couple of the marshmallows from her kid's bowl to up that ratio.

And that's why mommy is so mean. For reals.

You are so not alone. And hell woman, I take my nieces out to eat every time I have them...three sometimes four times a week. Cause, I just don't care to cook.

Oh, silly woman! You have been doing it all wrong. They do not need that sugar. You're supposed to pick out ALL their marshmallows and then put them in YOUR bowl. Hahaha! Well, that's what I do.

At least you share the sugar cereal with them - We give our kids plain cheerios and save the Cinnamon Toast Crunch for ourselves! My 3-year-old calls it 'Daddy Cereal'.

I'd give my kids Lucky Charms, too, if they didn't turn into such sugar highed freaks. My son, anyway. My daughter would probably be okay.

Thanks for visiting my blog at BabyCenter and your thoughts on homeschooling.

Is this Ashley from BabyCenter, or are you a different Ashley?

At any rate, have a magically delicious day.

My kids don't know you can eat something besides cereal for breakfast.

And they get it themselves. ;-)

Well, THANK GOD I've found someone else who does this, too! LMAO!

I prefer to pour my 13 month old some Cheerios, and then after her breakfast sit in the den and leisurely eat my Lucky Charms as she jumps up and down screaming for "dat, dat, DAT!!!" for mine. Also works with Pop Tarts and Toaster Streudels.

Love your blog!
